Cheat Codes: ------------ Submitted by: David K. DOT Damage Explanatory Guide: ----------------------------- Written by Game Smithing * Each application is unique. Bleeds for example, last 15 seconds, and different applications will not refresh the duration or interact with other applications in any way. * They can have different values, you could have a bleed that deals 1000 damage in 15 seconds and be one stack, and a bleed that deals 10 damage with the same amount of stacks. * Every time a dot deals damage, all of the instances calculate their crit chances individually. If any of them crits, it will show as a “crit” text. So if you have a bleed that deals 1000/tick, and one that deals 10/tick, you could get a crit that is 1000 + 10 * 2 = 1020, or 1000 * 2 + 10 = 2010. * Dots also use your current stats to calculate everything, so if you have a temporary effect like Bloodlust, while its active they will be dealing more damage, when its gone they will resume their normal damage. Doom is the exception in many ways. When you apply doom, you just add up the damage to whatever damage was already stored in Doom charges. If you apply 10, then 1000, then 500, your doom will deal 1510 when it expires, and check for crit at the time of expiration. Doom is always only 1 stack for that reason, it just keeps pilling up forever. Healing Tips: ------------- -=Green Crystals=- There are green crystals that spawn on the map, destroying them gives you 30 health back, which can be increased with upgrades. -=Smite=- There is also the Smite skill which heals you when you stand in the AoE area (And can crit heal, which is great), also there is a meta progression upgrade which will heal you when you level up by a certain amount (+2 on level 1, dont know yet how high it gets). If you have passives that cause multiple casts, the heal will multiply by # of casts as they are all in the same spot. can lead to some insane healing. -=How it works=- It just randomly picks a spot, then starts “charging” (can see the targeting circle on the ground start to fill). When its done itll damage enemies and heal you. As for the dangerous spots, either kill fast or take defensive stuff (block is pretty big from what i can tell, although i could have just been avoiding without noticing). -=Resume=- You dont need to heal that much if youre doing enough damage. I just finished a run in under 18 minutes and never had to crack a healing crystal once. The healing you get from points in the passive tree is enough, as long as youre doing enough damage and taking damage reduction. As far as your options for healing, I see only three: * The points in the skill tree. * Healing crystals. * Smite. Smite is hard to use because you get so easily knocked away from the AoE, and you end up taking damage rather than healing. So I dont find it very reliable. |
