Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Cheat Codes: ------------ Submitted by: David K. How to Reset Save Data from Epic: --------------------------------- Written by Choolio123 This guide will discuss how to backup and “reset” your save file process for the purpose of unlocking achievements, restarting the story, etc. -=Resetting Your Save Progress=- If you are like me and 100%-ed the game on the Epic Games Store and then went to play the Steam version and realized your save file is still there, this guide is for you! This guide will be pretty simple and straight-forward. At the time of writing this guide, there is no in-game way to reset your career/account progress entirely in either the Steam or Epic Game Store editions. However, this guide will work for both platforms. The best way to go about this is to navigate to the following path in Windows File Explorer. %LOCALAPPDATA%\VicariousVisions\THPS\Saved\ All save files are located in the SaveGames folder. If you wish to back these files up, simply renamed the folder (I named the folder SaveGames-Epic) and relaunch the game. You can also simply delete the folder and it will be regenerated on next launch. If you want to restore the previous save file (or use another one), simply rename the currently used folder to anything but SaveGames and rename the desired folder to SaveGames. If you receive Cloud Sync Error the first time launching after performing these actions, choose to keep the local file (i.e., the new save file we just forced). This error should only happen once. Tips and Tricks for Getting Started: ------------------------------------ Before you play the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 game, you will definitely want to know these simple but useful tips and tricks. * The menus are bad, if you can’t find something back all the way out and look around * The skill points in the levels are in different places based on what type of skater you’re using: vert, street, or park //(at the moment most online guides only have the ones for vert). * When using a created skater you can re-spec your skill points whenever which can help if you need to get more air/speed/etc to get an objective * The tutorial skipped over some things, or maybe I missed it, but No Comply and Boneless are in the game, just hit Up/Up Up and Ollie for them. Wall plant is just hitting ollie when you run into a wall in air. * When your skater is in Switch stance their skills are less effective unless their Switch skill is maxed out. There’s an icon in the upper right showing which stance you’re in. * You can hold ollie as you transition to Manual to maintain most of your momentum. There are some gaps thare are impossible without this. |
