Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! Cheat Codes: ------------ Submitted by: David K. How to Unlock Ghost Menu: ------------------------- Written by M3WEM A short, step-by-step guide on how to get the Ghost Menu, a mandatory secret to 100% the game, in DDLC. -=Introduction=- In DDLC+, theres a total of 11 secret poems to add to the photo album, but theres 12 images to unlock in the section. That last photo is the Ghost Menu, a black-and-white startup screen. This screen can only appear under certain circumstances in Act 2, and is necessary to obtain if you want to 100% the game and get the breakthrough achievement. The following guide is a step-by-step tutorial on how to unlock it. -=Obtaining the Screen=- Firstly, youll want to get past Act 1 and into Act 2. There is no difference what route you take, anything works. In Act 2, progress into the first couple days. You dont need to be specific with when, just make sure youve gotten a fair distance into the act, but before Yuris confession/death scene. Youll know youre at the right place when the opening content warning text begins to change. Keep in mind, the text can still appear as its usual message- “This game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed.” Its important to note that you might need to start up DDLC a couple times to get a different opening text. Not only can the regular text still appear, but it may also only have small adjustments- for example, it can end in a question mark instead, or replace the word disturbed with dismembered. Due to this, you should pay attention to the text when testing to see youre at the right place, and try several times just to make sure. Once you know the opening text is different, you can start opening DDLC repeatedly. The ghost menu has a 1/64 chance of appearing, so youll need to be patient or lucky to obtain it. All you have to do is open DDLC, and if the opening screen still appears, exit it and try again. If the Team Salvato symbol and the warning text still appear, no matter what the text may say, it means the ghost screen wont appear and you can just exit immediately. Youll know youve gotten the ghost screen when instead of the game logos and warning text, you see the word “END” on a black screen, just how you would after the end of an act or after Natsukis playtime scene. Then, the ghost menu will appear. To exit it, simply click once and the game should close down by itself, and itll be in your photo album! |
