Name of the file: Project Hospital Cheat Codes - Author: DAV |
Cheat Codes: ------------ Submitted by: David K. Sandbox Mode: ------------- Theres a sandbox mode with a bunch of options. You can choose to build everything from zero or you can choose prebuilt hospital, you can also choose if you want all departments unlocked or free building mode, so it should suit everyones needs. Money: ------ Written by generi Edit the save file for more money. -=Prerequisites=- A tool to open *.zip files. I use 7-Zip A tool to edit *.xml files. I use Notepad++ -=Find the Save Files=- The save files for Project Hospital are under your LocalLow Folder. Copy & Paste this into your File Manager: %appdata%\..\LocalLow\Oxymoron Games\Project Hospital\maps -=Open and Edit the Save File=- Search the *.zip file you want to edit. I highly recommend to create a backup copy of the file. Open the ZIP file, there's only one XML file in it. Extract it to anywhere on your harddisk and open it with Notepad++. You can also edit it directly if 7-Zip knows where to find Notepad++ (Extras -> Options -> Editor). In the XML file search (CTRL + F) for "balance". You should find the line < m_currentBalance >xxxxxx< /m_currentBalance >. Edit the value to whatever you wish. -=Create the New Save File=- Insert the modified *.xml back into the *.zip file (Drag & Drop) replacing the existing file. Or if you modified it directly in the ZIP, just save it and close Notepad++, 7-Zip should offer you to update the modified file. At last you need to make shure, the *.xml file has the exact same name as the *.zip does. If your *.zip is called "Save1.zip" the file in it has to have the name "Save1.xml". Done. Close Notepad++ and 7-Zip, start the game and open the new save file. Enjoy Project Hospital whitout money worries. Changing Staff Departments: --------------------------- If you want to change a department, you can look for the “Assign workplace” (looks like a computer) button on the staffs char sheet. Once you clicked that, choose an open workplace in the department you want to transfer that staff to and that should do it. Double check if the department icon next to the staff name has changed into the department you want to transfer it to. If it did, congrats you did it. How do I enable Hospitalization?: --------------------------------- In manager mode, youre probably almost always looking at the left side of your screen which features the “Clinic” side of the departments. If you look at the right side, youll see HOSPITALIZATION. Now depending on how much youve progressed in your Insurance objectives, you might not see anything under “Rooms” tab of HOSPITALIZATION, if that is the case then keep progressing through your Insurance objectives. If you however see rooms, congratulations, you can now enable Hospitalization. Enabling Hospitalization entails you the build ALL ROOMS THAT HAS ITS NUMBER AS RED listed under Hospitalizations tab. Tips & Tricks: -------------- * All nurses, doctors, and technicians require a desk, computer and chair to work from. * Doctors/Nurses wont count towards the department hospitilisation staff requirements count unless they have the department specialisation (“general surgery”, “cardiology” etc) * Similar to the previous point, doctors/nurses wont count towards specialist roles (eg. surgeon) unless they have the sub-specialisation (eg. “operative surgery”, “anesthesiology” etc) * When hiring staff (in particular, technologists), pay attention to the required skill needed for each room. It will show you technologists regardless of if they have the required speciality (eg. “USG” for the “Sonography” room). You wont be able to allocate them to the room unless they have the needed speciality. * Staff will get a bad enviroment negative effect unless you decorate their working enviroments a bit… * The clinics for every department are unlocked from the start. Only hospitalisation requires insurance objectives to unlock. * Hand dryers can be placed above sinks and can be used from there – allows to save on space. * Labs dont have a office desk listed as a requirement, you can place computers on the lab tables if youd like. * Having a receptionist does not mean you cant use the queue machine (and vice versa), they seem to work together. * Doctors offices will say there is no PC in the room (even if there is) if the pc does not have a chair infront of it. * If youre tight on space, instead of using sinks in most the rooms, you can use the hand sanitiser. It saves room. * The room colors (green/blue/red) dictate the rooms default patient access permissions (allowed, only with invitation, and forbidden respectively) * On the above, you can change a rooms default access by using the 3 colored hands at the bottom of the management mode screens. |
