You can obtain that by going to SteamID.io, adding their Steam account name, and then copying the data from the Steam64 value. List of Admin Commands: ----------------------- Command – Effect r.shadowquality 0 - Turn Off Shadows. stat Unit - Overall frame time as well as the game thread, rendering thread, and GPU times. Stat FPS 1 or Stat FPS 0 - Enables/Disables the fps overlay. setres - Set the resolution. Replace those numbers with your desired resolution. For Example: setres 1920×1080. r.bloomquality 0 - Turn Off Bloom. r.lightshafts 0 - Turn Off Lightshafts. sg.EffectsQuality 0 Server Configuration: --------------------- To modify game server settings you can open the: ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/GameUserSettings.ini config settings within ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/GameUserSettings.ini You can modify settings in here (in addition to the launch line) – these settings overwrite your launch line settings: Game.ini Vitamins Guide: --------------- Written by NoneXistent Just a short little guide for those that don't understand what those colored bars mean or how to keep them roughly equal. -=Important Notes=- Managing your food is very important in Atlas, even more so than you're probably used to if you come from ark or various other games. Overindulging in food can make you sick and overcompensating on vitamins and filling them too much can lead to your death just as sure as any other creature can kill you. You want to keep your vitamin intake equal as best as you can without only worrying about one sole type of food. If you fill up your vitamin B and ignore going and getting fish meat, you will eventually begin to lose health and be unable to regain health through normal eating methods. -=Vitamin A=- Vitamin A: it's the yellow bar to the far left. This bar can be filled by various herbs such as Mint, Parsley, Oregano, etc. -=Vitamin B=- Vitamin B: it's the pink bar to the right of the yellow. This can be filled by eating cooked animal meat or prime meat. Note: This does not include fish meat. -=Vitamin C=- Vitamin C: it's the orange bar to the right of the pink. This can be filled by eating general berries that can be found throughout the world such as blackberries among others. -=Vitamin D=- Vitamin D: it's the blue bar to the far right. This can be filled by eating cooked fish meat. Note: This does not include regular animal meat you'd get through normal animals. Early Game Survival Tips: ------------------------- Written by Jack Bright Things i've figured out or have been told by the community in the early stages of the game to help you progress. -=Food and Water=- You need to eat four food groups to maintain a balance of nutrients. Vitamin A: Vegetables Vitamin B: Meat Vitamin C: Berries Vitamin D: Fish Vegetables include Oregano, which looks like a VERY green bush with spade shaped leaves. Meat is self explanatory. Kill something. Berries look like a tall bush with red stuff all over them or an ankle high bush with flowers. Fish are in the water. Stab em with a spear, drag the corpse to shore, and butcher it. Meat and fish are best harvested with a pickaxe, hatchet gathers more hide. To get water, go prone and click the ground to begin a digging minigame. A spout of water will appear. Do NOT overeat any food group, or you will get sick and probably die. -=Escaping the Island=- You'll need to be around level six. EXP can be gained rather quickly through MURDER hunting. Select the skill Construction, then go into the construction tree. Unlock Seamanship and you're good to go! Remember to bring plenty of food before setting out. If you hit the level cap and can't unlock it, don't worry! You can respec for free from the inventory page once per level. -=Tips and Tricks=- * You can respec for free once per level from the inventory screen. * While the game has a lot of different resources, most of them are the same. To give an example, hemp and straw are both "Fiber," and you can see that as an icon next to their picture. * Cows and alligators drop prime meat. * Pigs have a pack mentality and will gang up on you. * Swimming does not drain stamina. How to Level Up Fast: --------------------- Written by Swiftkd Fast method to level fast in atlas. -=Level Quickly=- Alright i am going to explain this in a few steps the method depends if you spawn on a lawless island or a freeport. Step #1: Craft yourself a bow with atleast 50 arrows or more then once you crafted the arrows go look around the island for alpha creatures they give loads of experience! Step #2: Alpha boar gives decent amount of experience not to much but it will make you from level 2 to 8 in around 3 minutes of shooting it with arrows. For flawless areas you have bigger kills walking around like for example alpha rattlesnake, me and my two friends at level 8 we got 35 shared experience not sure if you shoot yourself that you get more then 35 might be but it got us from level 8 to 16. 2-3 minutes of hitting it with pikes this was not working out at all cuz 1-2 hits from the snake and you will have to much torpor and get knocked. if you are knocked or one of your tribe mates are they wont receive any xp. Future testing of other alpha monsters will happen when i got time to check it out but so far the rattlesnake alpha is a winner if you want to receive level 20 + fast. * Alpha pig experience 3.50 experience. * Alpha Rattlesnake 35 experience. Other alphas i came across where cows, horses on my island but they didn't give any experience at all so not worth your time. I yet have to find other alphas that give high experience. Server Admin Commands: ---------------------- Where and how in the configuration files do you setup the admin password? In the "GameUserSettings.ini" located in the ShooterGame/Saved/00 path, add [ServerSettings] ServerAdminPassword=[password] Use Ctrl + F to find code for your desired items. Dye codes are at the very bottom. These can be used on console after enabling cheats with the admin password (enablecheats password). server up and running. -=Installation of Server Files=- The first step is to retrieve the files for the game, this is done via SteamCMD. -=Download SteamCMD for Windows.=- Once you have SteamCMD, run download the server to. This will then download the entire game, Once completed, it's time to setup the server configuration. -=Server Configuration=- In this section we define the options on configuration and some basic commandline parameters The best method for a self-hosted solution is to use the provided .batch file Inside pixarkserver\ folder where you downloaded the game files, create a bat file e.g. start.bat Inside the .bat file enter in this: start /high C:\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64\ShooterGameServer.exe Ocean?ServerX=0? ServerY=0?AltSaveDirectoryName=00?ServerAdminPassword=123?MaxPlayers=125? ReservedPlayerSlots=25?QueryPort=57561?Port=5761?SeamlessIP=142.44.143.158 -log -server -NoBattlEye Change parameters as required e.g. change max players to max players desired. Change ServerAdminPassword for admin\rcon purposes. Next up, you need the official server grid tool here: ServerGridEditor (Hit "Clone or Download" then "Download Zip") Open the tool and configure how you want, two templates are provided under projects you can use for premade templates. Ports are defined in the commandline but try to match them. -=How do I set the server name?=- In the edit project, your server name is the "friendly name" This is what people will see. -=How do I set a server password?=- "Atlas password" box in the edit project section. -=Where do I put the ServerGrid.Json file after I export it?=- You put this in the folder you installed the server at, inside it's subfolder: shootergame\ e.g. C:/MYSERVER\shootergame\ -=Running the Server=- The best method for a self-hosted solution is to use the created .bat file you created above Inside the folder you set with steamcmd to install the files above, use the atlasserver\ folder where you downloaded the game files, Run Start.bat. Please note some port-forwarding may be required, by default the server will use port 7777 and 27015, each servergrid uses unique ports and runs a seperate process! you should unblock these port in your firewall\router. If setting up your own server is too much work for you, then please consider renting a server from Citadel Servers - They setup everything for you and offer over 20 locations worldwide, i would highly recommend them. How to Defeat Drake: -------------------- Written by Adam Earlston. Hi, I've killed a few drakes with this strategy now, me and Duke Nukem came up with this strategy since we couldn't find any good guides online for killing the Drake fast. -=How to Kill The Drake=- You will need climbing picks, gliders and a weapon of your choice with tons of ammo (I prefer the bow because you can repair it with resources from your inventory whilst fighting). Using your climbing picks and gliders (try to climb mountains and glide to the nearest Golden Age City/Building, bosses are usually there) find the boss and try to lure it towards random buildings until it gets stuck on 1 of the walls/buildings. Then you just get on a platform above it or in front of it and start shooting it to death :P If it gets unstuck then just repeat the strategy (usually doesn't get unstuck unless you move too far to the side or behind the Drake). Oh it is also worth noting that the Drake only breathes fire downwards at a 45 degree angle, which is why it's attacks don't hit me in the video. Also we have only done this a few times so far (worked very easily and fast though), so it might not work on every island, but i believe it does due to how easily we have gotten it stuck so far. |
