Cheat Codes: ------------ Submitted by: David K. Tips to Counterplay to Larcin in a Firefight: --------------------------------------------- Larcins best counter and really just doing more damage. His invis is good but thats more time that he isnt shooting. If you can get the drop on him before he is able to invis (which he most likely wont until low health) then you can prolly get him before he fully goes invis (he cant shoot during his animation, which lasts a second or two). Best thing you can do against Larcin is expect them to appear behind you. The cloak doesnt last long enough to regen cover without a good buff so if you were just shooting them you can bet they are still going to be out of cover when they reappear. If you are indoors try to watch for doors opening too. Tips to Kills and Disguise: --------------------------- The high time to kill compounded with the Disguise giving you additional defense seems to go against the whole spy vs spy motif. If I catch someone in their disguise off guard they should take more damage not less… it doesnt make any sense. They should be punished for being too obvious, but what happens is I shoot the first shot, revealing both of our disguises and they shoot me immediately afterwords so I dont get the benefit of the disguise DR on that next shot. This isnt so bad in Solos, but in teams when you can identify a team of 3, being way too obvious, its basically never advantageous to engage first as you will get overrun by the team of 3 unless all three of your team shoot basically simultaneously. Being down a man (or trying to play Duos) you can basically never win a “fair” teamfight where you got the advantage by shooting their disguises first. Dont forget you dont also necessarily have to take the first shot at someone while they are disguised. There are ways to break spies covers with gadgets and abilities. Its not always ideal to shoot a player that is under cover. This is not a pew pew only game. Using mind games, traps, ambushes, abilities, and gadgets go a long way. Heck sometimes even when you start a fire fight, its not always ideal to stick around for the entire fight. Sometimes you dip and live to mess with players another day. Sometimes I do things that trigger folks to fight and I stay out of it. This is one of those games that has so many more options and approaches other than just shoot people. If all game play was just geared towards downing people quickly while out of disguise, it would leave all the other fun stuff in gameplay without much use. Useful Mission Tips: -------------------- Written by bunbunHD Just 10 tips that I found out from playing, not necessary intuitive things! -=Tips and Tricks=- * When youre in cover, your character reacts to things around it like an NPC would! Civillians, staff, and technicians either run or cower when theyre around gunfire. If you see one standing still, theres a good chance thats another agent! Security will have an exclamation point above their head and point their gun at the culprit and try to find them. * You can revive NPCs! It can be a little finicky but if you crouch and look at them on the ground (I normally look at the belt line) you can pick them back up! * Spy kits that drop off other spies give their intel, some ammo, and some healing! Try to swoop in and grab it before someone else comes by, or snatch it yourself if you see another agent finish a fight to deny them the resources! * Ammo and food are 1 time uses and very noticable when taken! Try to avoid snacking too much in case another agent is watching. * Green rooms can have green, blue, and purple key cards spawn in them! Even though there arent vaults in green rooms, theyre still super worth it to check out. * Using the mimic device will drop any NPC aggression on you and allow you to build your cover back! (though this may be a bug/balanced later) * You can stop an extraction by standing in the yellow circle around the getaway vehicle. This one might seem obvious but plenty of people seem to simply snipe from afar. * Cover reduces damage for a small window! You cant get head shot while in cover but you can still take quite a bit of damage. sometimes its better to land a body shot first and god for headshots once their vulnerable. * If you forgot your gadgets somewhere or just want to be subtle, holding R will break your gadgets and return them to your inventory after a cooldown. * NPCS dont jump! They can get stuck some places but if you see one jumping around the road or off high places… shoot them! Guide to Change Your Gun Camo: ------------------------------ Written by PrinceCharming -=How-To (Step by Step)=- * Go to Agents and on the left side you see the Cosmetics tab. * Theres a picture of a tuxedo, a T-posing stick figure and then a paint bucket (Inks). * Click the paint bucket. * Select any paint you wanna use. * Then click "Confirm". * Clicking cancel or pressing Escape will just back you out without applying the paint. |
